Windows 7: Reinstalling win7 on SSD - Format?

Hello,

I am wanting to reinstall Windows 7 as I have been getting some BSOD lately, and I think it is time to freshen up the system.

I'm looking for advice on doing so as I have an SSD I like to run the OS from and use as my c: drive. I would like others opinions on the best way to go about this and whether or not to format the SSD.

I appreciate your help!

You're very welcome - Windows Seven Forums Tutorials by Brink and his merry band can provide a solution to most things related to Windows 7.

It's not necessary to use Diskpart to clean a new SSD as it is hard on it.

I would not call my SSD new, as I have had it since last Aoril. Whatcha think? Should I be using the diskpart, or just reload from the system image you had me create last April?

Good idea.

Just boot the Windows 7 DVD Repair console or Repair CD to Restore Using a System Image, let it autodetect the image on your external HD, reimage with full reformat.
