Can I install 7 64 bit on a 32 bit 7 system on a diifferent drive?
I have 32 bit Windows 7 Ultimate installed on my C drive. I want to install 64 bit Windows 7 on my D drive. I have several questions.
1. I have enough space on my D drive but would the installation wipe the D drive clean while installing?
2. Is it any concern if I install a different version than Ultimate on D drive?
3. Would I be able to access and use software already installed on C or D drive?
4. How will Windows handle boot? Will there be a selection screen at boot?
I'm doing this in order to utilize the extra 0,75 gb ram (I have 4 gbs of ram installed currently) to have better performance in some games and to be able to use DX11 features with a certain game because it has issues with 32 bit Windows 7 for now.
