Windows 7 64-bit and 32-bit Install Crash

I was installing Windows 7 on my computer, but it just crashes on completing installation.

I get an error message about the system shutdown unexpectedly (ie. crash) and it will not complete. I changed the harddrive and same problem. I tried bother 32-bit and 64-bit
and get the same problem.

Motherboard: Intel DP965LT BIOS is 1761, the latest.
Memory: 4 Gig - 1066 MHz of DDR2
CPU: Intel X6800
Video: MSI 512MB
Power: 500 Watt.
Fixed: WD 2500 JS
DVD: Sony 810

XP works flawlessly.

Any thoughts?
