So, how do I Format and unplug drives (Which Drives)?...Thanks
guess i should have read your specs first (lol). ok when you do a (clean) install you formate the drive. so when you said clean install and still having a duel boot you would have to have more then 1 drive. when installing windows a page will come up with your drives to install to . hight light the drive you want to use and click on format .that will clean everything off your drive so if you have anything on it you want to save make sure you back it up on another drive first.

If you want to save your install, post back a screenshot of your maximized Disk Management drive map and listings, using SNipping Tool in Start Menu. Tell us which one you want to keep.
If you want to reinstall to get it right, then follow these steps making sure to delete all other partitions on the HD if they are not needed. Ask back if you're unsure about one: Reinstalling Windows 7
O.K. so, I've repaired this by booting into the second operating system of windows 7 and doing one more clean reinstall. I think what happened here is that I didn't let the first clean reinstall run all the way through which is how I ended up with the two operating systems to begin with. Thanks for the help and Happy Holidays.
