    32 bit to 64!

Recently I bought a Toshiba computer and accidentally installed it as 32 bit, (I thought it was better) Now I want to make it 64 bit, I've looked it up countless times.
It didn't come with a disc I just had to select either 32 or 64 when it started up.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you,

    ~Taylor

Without a Windows 7 disk you can't. Moving from x86 to x64 requires a disk format and reinstallation.

There should be a Recovery Partition on the hard drive that you can use to restore to factory state. You rusers guide should tell you how to access it.

Try backing up your files then running Toshiba Recovery as suggested to see if it offers 64 bit as an option: Toshiba HDD Recovery Utility

If not you can call Toshiba to ask if they'll provide a 64 bit Recovery disk, or burn the Win7 ISO file to DVD or write to flash stick using Windows 7 USB-DVD Download Tool, clean reinstall following these steps to get a perfect clean reinstall of factory preinstalled OEM: Reinstalling Windows 7

You will need to order 64 bit Recovery Disks.
You can order Toshiba Recovery disks from here:
