Asking for username/password while installing Windows 7 Home Premium

Hi. I've got some driver problems so I decided to reinstall the same windows [Win 7]. While installing, The system restarted and showed up the Win 7 wallpaper asking for username and password. From what ? Also i didn't configured username/password before this. Tried the old username/pass but it says "This domain cannot be connected, blah blah blah...". What should I do ? Google Images screenshot below.

Try booting in safe mode and then try following the instructions from this tutorial:
Log On with User Name and Password

I know how to login. But no user/pass configured.

Are you booting the Win7 installer? Not possible to be prompted for a PW then, until asked to set one up at end of install.

Follow these steps to get a perfect reinstall: Reinstalling Windows 7

Are you using the the Dell Recovery Partition to reinstall?
As some OEM manufacturer's add a PW to the Administrator.

I just started a post concerning the same issue. I wanted to follow-up and see if you had any luck getting past the password screen. I have tried every option I can think of the restore the computer and get past the screen.

I too am having this problem. I put my Win7 disk in, it installed partially, restarted itself, and is now asking for this user name and password which I never set up. Any ideas?

Just leave the password request blank. It's likely asking you to set one up.
