Does a sleep mode function exist within the windows setup?

Right, as title says, is there a sleep mode in the windows setup, say i let the setup screen on for like..? i dont know, 6 hours. would it still be fully active after i come back, or will i find my computer sleeping ?... and yes, the PC has multiple drives.

Hello Dennisjehz

Normally sleep mode is disabled while installing. But windows turns off the screen after 20 min while the installation.

So It will not affect your setup.

If the command said it was completed then it was.

Clean is just as good unless you're trying to make data unrecoverable, and takes a lot less time.

Neither is really needed for better installation or performance unless there is an issue blocking install. Just booting the installer and repartitioning (or not) is sufficient. Win7 will format before install if you forget.
