This is not a Linux forum nor do we support GRUB which is inimical to Windows 7. I gave you the tried-and-true steps to rescue Windows 7 from ruin imposed by Linux Dual Booting.

You should be booting into the Windows 7 DVd or Repair CD to do the repairs, after Partition - Mark as Active (Method Two).

You should always be able to boot into the disk which happens at the BIOS level before any of that loads. How to Boot A Computer from CD or DVD - YouTube

Am I supposed to have the cd in the tray, power on, and hit f8 over and over to stop it from going to black screen?

The youtube video helped but I just cannot get to a place where I can follow the instructions. Are both OS's gone?

Let me see if I understand this: You can install a complicated Dual Boot for a nearly incomprehensible OS ruining your Windows 7, but don't know how to boot a disk?

The Acer F12 key is used for boot menu.

If you can't get it booting then the steps to rescue your files and clean reinstall are in the Troubleshooting steps, or you can run Acer Restoring a system to factory load

Gregrocker, the computer in question is one that a friend tried to uninstall Ubuntu on, found he was unable to complete the process and just abandoned it a few weeks ago. There's no need to be insulting. Even though I stumbled a few times I was successful in reinstalling Windows 7 without your help. The nature/language of my questions should have been your first clue that I was clueless. Thank you for trying to help me though.
