Clean install of win 7, two times, now boot issues.

Got a new hdd for the wifes laptop, installed windows 7 ultimate 64. Just to find out I typoed the user name at the beginning. Not wanting to be stuck with the registered user name i decided to reinstall the OS. To do my second install, I used gparted live to format my drives c partition, and d partition that Im planning to use for some backup stuff. Now when ever I turn the computer on, it brings up a screen in boot asking which OS i want to start. Both options are windows 7. how do I eliminate this issue without having to reinstall my OS, and reformat again? Thanks in advance for the assistance.

You did not reformat the partitions.
    Follow this tutorial to reformat:

Are both systems working or is it just a left over in the master boot record? If it is just one then boot into it then Windows key + R - msconfig/bootup. Copy what it says in there about the boot order & paste here.
