Can't install Win7 Ent on Samsung NP900X3A with 128 SSD

I'm having a hard time trying to install Win 7 Ent on a Samsung NP900X3A with an SSD. I tried the flash drive method, DVD's and also the factory recovery disc without any luck.

I can get it to boot and pass the Install window, but once it's there, I'm stuck at the part where it ask what disk and partition to install. I've used GregRocker's suggestions to prep the SSD but, still no luck. Any other help will be highly appreciated. TIA

Check to see if you have a UEFI BIOS as you'll need to take special steps to Install Win7 64 bit if so: UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) - Install Windows 7 with - Windows 7 Forums

If this doesn't apply then reset your BIOS to defaults. While in BIOS setup set the SATA controller to AHCI first to try install, then IDE if that fails.

Remove all but 2gb of RAM to try install.

Where did you get Win7? DId you burn the DVD yourself?

Greg - Win7 is both an ISO and DVD that we use here at work, which has been installed on multiple systems without any issues (yet). To remove the ram, I'm going to have to remove the rubber bumpers under the system, which I really don't want to do as this is fresh out of the box and just in case we have to return this for any reasons. I don't want them to refuse it because I cracked it open.

This is a 32bit O/S that I'm trying to install, btw. I've also tried changing the AHCI and resetting of the bios already, no luck.

You have tried wiping the drive first? SSD - HDD Optimize for Windows Reinstallation

That rig comes with Win7 64 bit. Is it still on there, or if not what is? Why are you reinstalling?

Is the failure exactly the same with both flash installer and DVD? Try writing official ISO w/SP1 to stick using Universal USB Installer with Win7 in dropdown menu: Clean Reinstall Windows 7 Factory OEM.

At what point in the install steps does it fail? Any error message? Can you post a camera snap? Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums - Windows 7 Forums

Got this from another forum - use the USB port on the right of the laptop as the USB3 on the left does not have drivers in the install environment.

Thanks for all the responses, I got this going already a while back. But this is how I did it. Booted with a USB stick on the left side. While connecting the right usb port with an external drive that has a bare image of Win7 from a Lenovo X200.
The system took the image, and I'm all set.
