Too many Partitions created on new computer

It doesn't matter whether it is logical or primary.

Just to clarify: a primary partition is a simple volume as a single entity. A logical drive is an area of drive space that is part of an extended primary partition.

The reason logical partitions are so useful is that you are only allowed four primary partitions on a hard drive. A logical partition as part of an extended primary partition is a way of getting round this restriction.

NO, you would be in Diskpart.

If I delete the E drive. Where will the GB's go. Will they join the 7GB free or one of the other drives C or Unallocated??

If you delete the E drive and the free space then you'll be left with an area of blank space on which you can create one single data partition as shown in theog's screenshot of Fujitsu's disk layout.

NO,that would be 4 partitions, therefore partition 4 will be logical. I only have 3 partitions.

Thanks for all your help guys. It is all looking very complicated to me. You all obviously know what you are doing, but looking at all those screenshots where non of the GB numbers change when they are supposed to be being deleted, confuses me.
I think I am going to have to get a pro to do it if the supplying company will not help.

However, a logical partition will be OK to use for your data storage.

Obviously, it's your decision, but if you have a set of Fujitsu recovery discs you should be able to restore the computer to its out-of-box factory state without resorting to professional help that is going to cost you.

IMO, Do a clean install & repartition.
