OK guys, thanks for helping but I just realized that the other instances of previous windows installations were still showing up - though windows 7 boots just fine.
How do I safely get rid of them ?
Should I just let it go since it's not causing any problems?
You can just delete them.
Highlight the two you want to delete then it's Delete>Apply>OK>Reboot.
OK- but for some reason, windows 7 is identifying itself as windows 8 developer preview.
The entry called windows 7 is the fake one I added with easybcd - same for the other one as well.
Cross check the listings in EasyBCD 2.02.
Then delete the non-booted OS's, rename the booted OS on Edit OS menu.
That worked. All cleared up. Thanks for the help.
