| | Problems installing Hi, I have a fresh computer I've been trying to install 7 on to no avail. Initially, I wasn't even able to get the installer running (I would get blue screens informing me my BIOS wasn't fully ACPI compliant). After removing a stick of RAM, the installer came up fine. Everything was going (seemingly) well, first restart came and went, and then while the setup was sitting at Completing installation, the computer restarts and I get an error message: 'Windows restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. The setup cannot proceed. Click OK to restart computer, and then restart installation.' I restart and start the installation again, but the problem persists. |
