Windows 7 DVD Not Booting Hey guys,
I burned the .iso windows 7 file onto a Sony DVD using Active@ ISO at 4x burn speed. Everything went fine with the burn and then i put my dvd burner (HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GSA-H31N) as the first in my bios and then restart, but then it doesnt boot...
I dont think the DVD is the problem as i put it into my mac and it shows the 2.36GB that the windows 7 .iso file is supposed to be...But intrestring enough it doesn't show in vista and everytime i click on the dvd the computer freezes up.
Also i tried a dvd earlier and it booted up but it didnt work (i didnt realize that the dvd was only 702mb ...)
Any help? Suggestions?
Thanks guys, appreciate any help.

Ask for any specs you guys need I'm with Doc: Download ImgBurn, and use that, with 'Verify' checked. http://www.imgburn.com/
Also, you must use " Write IMAGE file" in whatever burn-program you use.
(Top-Left in Doc's pic.)
The fact that Vista freezes up would indicate to me, a bad DVD, for one reason or another: Hidden boot sector, boot catalog, whatever...
Lastly, simple DVDs are on the order of about 4.6 GIGAbytes.
Simple CDs are around 640-700 MEGAbytes, so you may have a misunderstanding there.
On a personal note, I avoid all Sony magnetic media.
Your BIOS must be set to boot FIRST from CD/DVD...
