motherboard died and need new hdd on a new motherboard
Hello.
I have read the forum on sysprep, however I see that there are some procedures which must be completed before the old HHD is removed and input into the new motherboard.
Problem is.....My old motherboard crashed and I cannot implement sysprep on the old system, how would I get along doing this if the hdd is not botting up on my new motherboard?

For what it is worth, Windows 7 seems to be pretty tolerant of new motherboards. Quite a few people have reported here that they swapped boards, reconnected the old hard drive, and booted OK. yeh, mine boots but unfortunately it attempts to do a repair which doesn't resolve the issue. I have no option to log into my profiles, it goes directly to startup repair. | | My System Specs | | |
