Reinstall Win 7 only on dual boot system

We are NOT discussing hacking or piracy. I joined to get help with a legal system that is dual boot.

How about this: Can anyone help me with a step by step to remove both Win 7 and the OSX and reinstall Win 7 only?

So do I need to resign from this forum? I see it is Window seven.

    Thanks

Your original post states quite clearly that you are running OS X and Windows 7 on a Windows platform.

Apple's EULA states quite clearly that this is not permitted.

In terms of WSF's rules, I think Rule 4 and Rule 6 are plain enough.

If you want to remove OSX (which you should) Boot into Win 7 and delete the OSX partition in Disk Management. But first check in Disk Management whether your Win7 will remain bootable (look for the active partition).

But you can always reinstall Win7 if you have an installation disc or a Win7 recovery partition.

    ??

@seavixen: I told you I am not an expert, and a novice; so I got the systems backwards obviously-- my bad. So it is Wndows running on a perfectly legal OSX platform. Big deal. From what I can find on the net there are many many dual boot systems around.

@ whs: And thanks whs. Your help is appreciated.

Any other pitfalls I should worry about in deleting the OSX? Or in reinstalling Win 7 if it does not boot?

    Thanks

If you do it right, it will boot. Maybe you want to post a picture of your Disk Management so that we can see what the situation is and advise you accordingly.

If C is your Win7, you are good. You can delete the other partitions. I assume the other large partition is OSX and the small partition in front of it is the OSX bootmgr.

If you delete those, you will get one big spread of unallocated space where you can define a new partition or leave it free for later use.

    "not genuine" issue

Suddenly last night I got this Windows Not Genuine message. I know the OS is genuine, can we address this issue first?

Call these guys and have them fix it: Activation and registration of a Microsoft product And delete this picture with all the details of your systerm - not a good idea to have that floating around.
