How do I transfer xp drivers to W7?

I have build 7100.

I tried installing a driver on Windows 7. but it failed, even under compatibility mode. I installed the same driver on XP (I dual boot), it worked.

Is there a way I can copy the driver from XP to Windows 7?

You will need drivers for Vista or Windows 7 for most hardware. Check the manufacturers websites for the Vista or Windows 7 drivers.

You can still dual boot.

They will not be compatiable with Windows 7. Totally different driver architecture.

It would be like trying to run a Diesel truck with regular gas.
