Installing problem 0x80300001

I have now windows on the harddive right now I Delete the partition from custom then got tr error code of being in gpt style instead of mbr then cleaned the drive and converted it to mbr now I get that code I have to do everything through cmd because I don't have an is on my computer.. Anyone got any ideas

Uefi? Is that under bios? I have an Asus mobo I've never gotten into uefi

Fill in your specs so we can help you further.

Please try removing the disk and reinserting it, refreshing the drives to see if it will proceed.

If not post back the verbatim text of the error message, or a camera snap.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit (Build 7600)
 
 


I've had this error on a Compaq laptop before. Have you tried changing from AHCI to IDE in the BIOS ?

SATA controller. Try it first in AHCI mode, then if it fails change to IDE mode to try it that way.

The controller setting can affect whether Windows 7 will install. It is one in a checklist of steps we give.
