Win 7 on ASUS M6000 M6R Driver Issues

    Hey Guys,

I'm having issues installing the Realtek Gigabit driver for this ASUS m6000 m6r laptop. I've been able to install sound and a few other drivers using win xp compatibility but i'm stuck on the network (which is probably one of the most important!) has anyone had any similar problems and found a solution for this? The laptop is a colleagues, my win 7 is running just fine

First we need to know more about your hardware. Please fill in the system specs (lower left corner). Im assuming you have a 32 bit OS, and there is only a 43 bit driver. it can be found here ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support-

    Hope this helps

Just run windows update. It should automatically and Install the Drivers for you.
And if it does not work then visit the link that Ken gave you.

unfortunately it's quite an old laptop, and only win xp drivers are provided for the model. might have to bail on win 7 on this one.
