    "Starting Windows" problem

Hi, I just installed windows 7 on a partition of my dell xp rig. It is a fairly recent install of xp with no major programs installed more of a server. I did a clean install of xp as it came with vista. anyway once installed 7 says "starting windows" or something to that sort tehen the screen goes black and nothing ever happens. when i try to start in safe mode it tells me i must finish installation in regular windows mode where i get a blank screen. anyone know whats going on?

This is caused because of some problem in display driver....

This is an unorthodox method but this should work..
    1) Start reinstalling windows..
    2) after the first restart you will see the screen pitch black because due to over frequency but you will see that your HDD led is blinking that means the windows is installing.....
    3) wait for 15 to 20 mint max it should restart by then if its not press the restart button..
    4) now you should be able to open safe mode...........
    5) After booting windows in safe mode open device manager and disable the display driver........
    6) then reboot in normal mode you wont be getting aero...
7)then try installing vista display driver ,it should work....

The error is not shown because you aree using a TV not a monitor......

alright well i'll give it a try and see but it'll have to wait till tomorrow. for some unknown reason it wouldnt be because of the two different pairs of memory installed?

Then you would have received a BSOD error..
