You need a repair CD or Win7 installation DVD for your licensed version and bit rate. Once you find the Product Key on the COA sticker we will help you with the latest Win7 installation DVD with SP1.

Boot the Repair CD or DVD Repair console, if it doesn't find an installation to repair enter Recovery options, open a Command Line, type Bootrec /fixmbr and bootrec /fixboot, reboot into Repair to see if it now finds an installation. If so accept any offered repair and if Win7 doesn't start, boot back in to run Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times exactly as described in the blue link. If no installation shows, run the 3 repairs anyway to see if it finds anything.

There are other steps here that you can try: Windows 7 fails to boot

I already tried these commands, always got an error message :
"Le chemin d'accès spécifié est introuvable", so in English, it should be something like "The specified path is not reachable".

As suggested by Duzzy, it could be a driver problem ?

I've yet to see a modern controller driver not provided by installer, however it could be the first.

If UCBD can see C then it should be discoverable if not reparable. Can you browse files using Repair CD or Win7 DVD using this method? Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console

Yes but I wrote in a previous message, there are only 2 drives available :
    1) drive X: (repair DVD drive)
    2) Drive D: DVD reader drive

Are you browsing in through Explorer as given in the blue link posted above or are you using Diskpart?

It is very strange that Win 7 recovery environment cannot see and map any partition on HDD (when UBCD can).
Does BIOS see the disk (proper size and type) ?

Using diskpart.exe one can see all partitions/volumes.
Start diskpart: (it opens own command prompt)
list disk - lists all disk
list vol - lists all volumes
select disk 0 - selects first disk
help - gives list of commands

Diskpart uses the lowest level of disk access.

    Note:
The 32bit versions of command line tools bcdedit, bootsect, bcdboot can work also in a 64bit environment - MBR, PBR and BCD store (simple registry file) do not have 32/64 bit versions !
So if there is only a 32 bit Windows 7 Recovery CD by hand one could repair manually a 64 bit system.

When using this method Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console you don't have any drives without drive letters do you?

Using diskpart.exe one can see all partitions/volumes.
Start diskpart: (it opens own command prompt)
list disk - lists all disk
list vol - lists all volumes
select disk 0 - selects first disk
help - gives list of commands
Type diskpart at the command prompt and try the above and see if it finds your hard drive and volumes. Unlikly but try it. Type exit to exit diskpart and return to the command prompt.

When you tried to load the driver did it give you an error or you just couldn't see any more drives othen than X: and D:?

If using 64bit DVD/USB for recovery select the inf file in the Flopply64 folder or for 32bit DVD/USB use the Flopply32 folder.
