| | There are only a very few 32 bit apps that have problems with the 64 bit OS. Mostly they work just they would in a 32 bit OS. |

| | oh i see, because after reformatting then clean installing win 7 x64 and used my laptop's driver installer I noticed in the processes list that there are programs running with *32 at the end of the name. |

| | Many programs install in 32 bit on a 64 bit OS - you'll find them in the 32 bit Programs folder. This is not the same as drivers, which are bit-version specific. Look on the computer or Device's Support Downloads webpage for the driver bit-version you need. If it's not listed, you may still find it via Google. |
