Windows 7 - I'm stucked at installing new Windows 7

I have a HP laptop, it's old almost a year. Laptop name is HP Pavillion dv7 4020em, and it's very good, so there can't be problems with hardware. Before, there was installed Windows 7 ultimate 64bit, but now I decided to reinstall windows, because I use laptop for games only, and I don't need HP applications -.- which are only slowing computer (for me, these apps may be perfect for bussines, and things like that). So I inserted original windows 7 home premium 64bit disc, which has been bought. Installation started, everything, but then at Completing Installation, stucks, so i had to force shutdown. When I turn on computer, it stucks at:

I translated this, so i may be a little different, but anyway, I restart laptop, but i always get on this. I tryed with disc, without disc, turned on electric, on battery only, but i always get on this. I also tryed in safe mode, but I get on this:

My computer is currently useless, but I really don't want to lose it. So if you know for any solutions, please reply.

I also disconnected mouse, everything what was connected to laptop (mouse, cooler and power cable).

Do you know if you have a genuine valid Windows 7 Home Premium installation disc?

Did HP ship the PC to you with Windows 7 Ultimate installed? Or did you install Ultimate after you got the PC?

During the installation, did you attempt to delete all existing partitions?

I presume that you have bought a genuine retail copy of Windows 7 Home Premium.

I would suggest you delete all partitions on your HDD and format it using a third party software like Partition Wizard before you start a fresh install. (If you already have other partitions on which you have data, then delete only the System Partition and format it.)

You can download Partition Wizard bootable CD ISO from Free Download Magic Partition Manager Software - Partition Wizard Online . Burn it to a CD , and boot from it to perform the above action.

Also, before you start, open Windows Explorer and look for C:\swsetup. This folder contains all the HP drivers and applications that were factory-installed. I'd recommend you copy it to an external location, if only for any drivers you may need.

When I bought laptop, there was Windows 7 home premium 64bit installed, with all drivers. Then I bought windows anytime upgrade key, and upgrade to Ultimate.

Installation disc is not mine, my cousin bought it when he bought also desktop pc without windows. So disc is genuine. I got activation key sticker on laptop, so I just need to install windows 7. But as I mentioned before, i get on that problem.

Have you tried using the Diskpart command and then "clean" to wipe the disk during the install?

I want delete EVERYTHING, except D disk. And you seavixen32, I can't open ANYTHING, I just can turn on my laptop, and wait to error which I mentioned before, and then only clicking OK for restarting over and over again... And if I want to use Partition Wizard, I must normaly enter OS, but that is impossible. Before I had partitions: C, D, HP_Tools and System or something like that. Is it possible to abort installation and start over again ? Please help ...

I just turned on computer, copied save game files to usb, and then inserted Installation disc, and following the instructions. I didn't do anything. And when there was option Where do you want install Windows 7, I clicked C.

I'm a bit confused here.

You say you bought the laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium, aand then used Windows Anytime Upgrade to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate.

1. You do not need an installation disc as Microsoft sell you a product key when you buy the upgrade. All you do is input this product key when prompted.

2. You say the installation disc is not yours, but we're given to understand Windows was already installed.

3. If Windows is already installed, you don't need to install it again as I've already explained.

4. But now you're saying you want to install Windows with a disc belonging to your cousin.

Before we can help you further you need to explain exactly what is on your computer now and where you you bought the upgrade to Ultimate. Only then can we advise you accurately.

I don't know what is on my computer now. How should I reinstall Windows 7, if not with disc ?

1. I got installation key, at a the bottom of computer is sticker with activation key.
