| | Does a freedos laptop contain a product key ? As I know, it doesn't . When somebody dont want a preinstalled laptop, and want to make a custom install, they opt for a freedos one, which costs a bit low ... the price of OS is not included there. To install windows on a freedos laptop, you need to purchase windows separately . |

| | Check the Dell Support site. If Drivers for Windows XP and Windows Vista are not available for your laptop, then you may have to go with Windows 7 install only. And in your first post you said you have Win 7 Disk. FreeDOS is not Windows 7. |
