Why won't this photoshop installation work?
I try to install this Adobe Photoshop but it appears as a image format instead of a download. So I went and found the setup.exe. and tried to run as administrator and this is what shows up every time. http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...iekk/error.png | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell Inspiron 1545

Your specs say you are 64 bit are you trying to install the 64 bit windows version?

Looking at the files' date (1998s). I think it's incompatible due to it's old version. You may try install starting from the first CS version (2003s) up to the latest version (CS5).
I assume you're on Windows 7.

I think Kevin's got it.
Earlier versions of Photoshop (7.0 and before I think) have 16-bit installers that will not run on a 64-bit OS. Well spotted Kevin.
It's probably Photoshop 7, which if so means it won't install. This means that although the application is a 32-bit application, the installer is compiled with 16-bit code, which means it won't install to a 64-bit version of Windows.
