Computer shuts off during installation

    ..Really? As stupid as this sounds, I never really thought about that, but I guess I'll give it a shot. If that doesn't work, what would be your next stab?

    Would I want to do this via device manager or use Driver Sweeper?

    just try device manager. it should be pretty simple. once it's uninstalled, reboot and run setup.exe again

    Okay, cool. Also, just out of curosity, what makes you think all of the sudden the video driver would conflict, like, why at 27-30%. Why not earlier? It just doesn't add up to me. I'm not saying you're wrong, by any means, either.

    could just be at that point it's "kicking in". i don't know exactly but i do think that's the problem

    How did you burn the ISO to dvd? what app did you use and how fast was the burning speed?

    I have no clue, I got it from a friend who works at a computer store, who just took the files and put them on my flash drive for me. I then gave it to my brother, who's installation went perfectly. It's something with my computer.

    If it is a bunch of files instead of one ISO you are going to have problems. You dont even know if it is a legit copy, or a working one. If I were you I would downlload a fresh copy
