What is on the D partition? If nothing important then delete the partition and recreate a new one in the unallocated space.

Hi Noanii

Can you attach the screenshot of disk management?
or
try viewing it using third party partition program. (Easeus or partition wizard will do)

It's possible when you cancel the installation, Linux already get the hand to D partition.

Kevin.

As you say you can see the files in Command Prompt. In that case you can also copy them there and paste into another drive. I hope you still remember the copy and paste commands in DOS. In case you have forgotten a visit to MS-DOS copy command help would refresh your memory.

After that you can delete and recreate the partition.

It might repair the D drive so that it becomes accessible again.
