What mainboard software should I install after installing W7?
I have just installed Windows 7 premium 64-bit on an Asus P5K premium mainboard. The Asus website lists various software downloads for this mainboard. Some of them are:
Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility V220.127.116.119
Marvell Yukon Gigabit Ethernet Driver V18.104.22.168
ATK0110 driver Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver V22.214.171.1243
JMicron JMB36X(JMB363) Controller Driver V126.96.36.199
I think the Marvell driver got installed by Windows 7 "automatically". However, I don't know where to look inside my Windows 7 installation to double-check this. What about the other software listed above? Is there a way of checking my Windows 7 installation to see if this other software has already been automatically installed from the Windows 7 DVD-ROM?
Thanks a lot for any advice.
