New drive named C causing old C drive to be inaccessable

My old C drive wouldn't boot and I thought it was failing. I installed a new SSD I had and put Windows 7 on it. Now the new drive is C which is causing all of the files on the old C drive to be unusable do to bad path name. I am not sure how to fix this. I really need all of that data.

Right click on the top folder (in the left pane of Explorer) of each category > Properties > Location tab and change to the new location

Run HD maker's HD Diagnosticextended CD scan with just the problem HD plugged in. Follow this with Disk Check run from System Recovery Options Command Line.

If the data is still inaccessible even after using Take Ownership Shortcut you may need to rescue it using the Win7 DVD or System Repair Disk with this method: Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console
or use free Paragon rescue disk; recover data.
