Bootcamp install Win 7 - CD/DVD driver missing error on Mac Pro 3,1

I am trying to install Win 7 on my early 2008 Mac Pro Dual Quad 2.8, 6 GB 800 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM RAM, Running Lion 10.7.3. I have a Sony Optiarc AD7170A Optical drive.
Just after I hit the install button I get an error message (and I'm paraphrasing here) CD/DVD driver missing, if you have a floppy, cd, containing the driver insert it now. I am hoping that all I have to do is throw a driver onto a flash drive and it will read it from there but being a Mac person I could be (and probably am) way off base. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
