Shifting System reserved partition to other HDD .!

You'll have to wait to see if F8 Advanced Boot Options still includes System Recovery Options which will run after moving the System boot files using EasyBCD. It's possible.

If not then the hotlink has been broken to WinRE file, however it can be re-linked using commands similar to this which our colleague SIW2 can help you with: Dell Recovery Partition - restoring F8 link

And yes, the Repair console is still available by booting the System Repair Disk or Win7 installer System Recovery Options.

I did move the bootmgr using Easy BCD to C:/ .
Then Marked the System reserved partition on the other drive inactive and C:/ pn the first drive active .
Restarted and the set the drive with C: to booth first .

But it still says Error loading the Operating System . Why is that .?

When you plugged back in the other HD and set it first to boot, then WIn7 started up again, correct?

I'm assuming this is when you tried moving the boot files to C. Does C now hold the System flag? Check using free Partition Wizard bootable CD.

If not unplug other HD, boot PW CD to mark C Active, then click on HD # to highlight it, from Disk tab select Rebuild MBR, Apply. See if WIn7 will start.

If not run Startup Repair 3 separate times with reboots again, until Win7 starts.

Yea When Windows refused to start i reversed to the previous state with the other HD (containing system reserved partition ) & set to boot first , Win7 started .

I already gave you advice early on how to retain the F8 functionality using the SIW2 post.
You have also been given advice on how to solve your boot problem using "bootrec". None of it followed and you still have a problem.

Yes, C must hold the System Active flags before it is booting on its own. That means the System boot files reside there.

Try the bootrec commands (also automated in Startup Repair) that Michael refers to above to see if that helps, with only C HD plugged in.

If that fails we can try to construct a System Reserved boot partition to see if that will work.
