boot from drives and format

i know, thanks i thought that perhaps there is something invented now through win7.
now i made a usb bootable of win7.
but i am facing a problem right now.

but when i restarted my system go into the bios.
and from bios, go into Advanced CMOS Setup.
and then select First boot device as USB.

now here are some more similar things to USB.
for example:
IDE-0,CD/DVD-0,Intel UNDI,
USB FDD,
USB CDROM,
USB HDD,
USB RMD-FDD,
USB RMD-HDD.


which one should i have to choose.?
i selected USB-FDD but there is an error when i am trying to restart : "a Disk Read-Error Occured, Press Ctrl+Alt+Del"


kindly tell me how to ?
and what sequence of boot devices should be?

In the first quote you say you dont have a dvd, in the second you do but its not doing something.

Can we get t his straight?

You can install win 7 if you have the files on HD D, then just double click setuo.

What kind of problem are you now having?

ohh sir my mind is spinning now. situation is going more complex.
At first , i tried to install win7 without DVD,USB and External Hard disk.SO thats why i asked this.
After than i said. i dont have . But i meant to say that DVD/Rom is not giving any respond , mean not working.
2ndly i borrowed USB drive from some one for solving my problem.
i made it bootable but when i tried it to start booting process.

FOr starting booting process,i i had to go inside the system bios and had to set the first boot device as USB but here is no option like a single USB.

these options are avaiable at there:
IDE-0,
CD/DVD-0,
Intel UNDI,
USB FDD,
USB CDROM,
USB HDD,
USB RMD-FDD,
USB RMD-HDD.

Now i dont know which one is for this USB drive? i tried 2 in above of them
USB FDD and USB RMD-HDD as First boot device. but this error occured when it try to boot.
" Disk Read-Error Occured, Press Ctrl+Alt+Del".

i know all this. but my problem is not relating to this.
i have to first uninstall the win7 from my C drive then have to install a fresh copy of win7 into the C drive.
i haven't an external hard drive or DVDRom (mean not working).
i just have an usb at this time which create this problem which i discussed at above.

YOUR D DRIVE IS AN INTERNAL DRIVE.

If you must ignore everything we say, please ignore the following as well..

Navigate to your install files on D. Run Setup.exe

When the install process asks you UPGRADE or CUSTOM Intsall. choose CUSTOM.

When the install process asks you to decide which drive you wish to install Windows 7 on, choose your C drive.

You DO NOT need to uninstall first.

hi again ,
i run Setup.exe and after than select custom Install.
when i tried to install in c drive, it displays this in bottom of that window:
"windows cannot start in that disk and in that partition" and next button is going to be disabled, so i can't click on it.
actually , i dont have any space in my any drive and other drives(other than C drive) contain important data, so that 's why i dont want to install in any other drive.
is there not any way that i can fromat my c drive first and then install new win7 ?
now please dont say that use external drive or DVD Rom.
is there not a single way to solve it?
