    how to get back my window starter or basic after upgrading to ultimate


    please help me!!......i have problem when using this window ultimate when my friend upgrade my laptop from window starter that was originally installed on my ASUS K43U Series to window 7 ultimate with the original code.but iam afraid that window will detect my laptop cause iam using window 7 ultimate with the same code my friend had use....please help me....now i am afraid to update my window...i need answer ASAP!!..

    It sounds like you are trying to use the same key twice. If this is correct we cannot offer help, with that situation.
    We can try to get you back to your original Operating system if you did not format the restore partition, however.
    Try to boot your computer while pressing f9

    You should be able to run Asus factory Recovery from boot following the steps given in your Manual found on the Asus Support Downloads webpage for your model.

    Otherwise you'll need to order Asus Recovery media to boot and reinstall Starter.

    You can also find a Starter version ISO to burn to DVD or write to flash stick and clean reinstall Starter with the Product Key on the COA sticker on the machine: Clean Reinstall Windows 7 Factory OEM

    One other option is that you can buy Anytime Upgrade to Ultimate and try it's key but it is unlikely it will work until you go back to Starter and then insert the Key into Anytime Upgrade. This is because the Anytime process is different than the clean install your friend did to upgrade you to a version of Win7 that you do not yet own.

    okay2...thank...but let make it clear here....my friend not install it...but upgrade it with window anytime upgrade....as i say, my laptop has originally installed with window starter right?....so, it automatically have window anytime upgrade....he key in the code n my laptop change to window ultimate...of course u all know the step right?...but what make me being worried, this shit my window ultimate demand an activate within 20 day by now..SHIT!!!...SO I HOPE i can walk back an change my OS to starter without losing my data just like window anytime upgrade does.....hope u all understand my little problem....

    hoho...thanx all....i solved it by pressing f9 and my pc started 2 boot itselft and restore factory setting....all my problem have been solved....thanx u.........but one thing 4 sure i want 2 ask, after i make this recovery, can i do it again?....i mean it is same like formatting right?....or u all can tell me good advice or step to be done after i done my recovery....TQ

    You can restore to factory settings again at some time in future if you need to.

    hmm....dont mine if i ask this, if there are any solution or something to download for this SOB window strter.....that might help it operate like/almost like ultimate???...kind of???....
    1.how to use theme
    2.pc to pc conection<set up new connection in network n sharing center>
    3.or something that u all can suggest that might help me...
