I bought new pc today,it doesnt have any operating system installed, and i want to install windows 7.First i start the installing progress and it pops out error on 89 %.i try again, but then theres bootmgr is missing error,so i dont get even that far.half the time it gives me bootmgr error and half the time stops on 89 % with error that says that specified files are not reachable or somthing like that.

Hi and welcome to sevenforums

Where did you get your win 7 dvd from and how did you burn it (using what app and how fast did you burn it). Did you format the hard drive? have you partitioned the HD?

Hello empee and welcome to the SevenForums.

Please first fill out your system specs by clicking "My System Specs" on lower left corner of your post and filling the form. We have to know more about your new computer before we can help you.

It could be a badly burned DVD. Burn your ISO once again, this time use the slowest possible speed (max 4X). I have some bad experiences with Nero, I use Active ISO Burner, you can download it free here.

Don't think it's a bad burn as the XP cd won't install either.

You are probably right, of course. Too hasty conclusion from my side.
