    How to Shrink Windows 7 iso


    Hello,

    Does anyone know how to shrink Windows 7 iso,
    like remove the other editions.

    I made a windows 7 AiO disc, which has all the editions, 32bit and 64bit

    but I want make a special iso, that only has 32bit and 64bit of Ultimate,

    can anyone help me please?

    i just want to remove other editions of 7, like home premium, pro, and just leave ultimate

    you can do that but dont think that it will reduce the size of the install.wim file.

    it should reduce some size of it, at least a couple hundred megabytes

    WIM files use a difference algorithm meaning only the difference between the editions is saved. Since Ultimate has everything, the reduction in size will be very very minimal. Can remove all the eddition you do not want by recreating the install.wim with imagex. Do this by exporting the ones you want into a new wim file. Also with recreating the wim, can use high compression.
