I would try opening the .html file with notepad, just to be sure firefox isnt causing an issue. you could also run the windows 7 compatability tool

I tried running the compatibility tool from MS website and it says i can upgrade to Win 7 ultimate 32 bit OS. So I'll try again this evening after removing the Anti virus and looking at the log file in notepad.

Yes, i finally got it by removing the Anti-virus SW first and installing Windows 7.
