    History Not Saving. How to Re-intall IE8


    How do I install or re-install IE8 for Windows 7. My history is not saving! I thought re-installing will fix this. Will it?

    I had to delete IE9. IE9 is terrible!

    Yes, get Chrome or Firefox. My son uninstalled IE from his machine. I have not use it in years.

    No Adram I had it set to save them. It was doing find until now.
    Yes Silvera I have Firefox. Does anyone know how to re-install IE8 ?

    You cannot reinstall IE8 as it is less secure. I would turn off IE9 in Programs and Features>Turn off Features, then turn it back on again and check settings.

    Or use Firefox which keeps History until cleared.
