Got Windows 7 not genuine message after upgrading from 32 to 64 bit OS

I have a legaly bought Windows 7 ultimate upgrade licence. My original system, a dual core athlon, was running windows 7 ulitmate 32 bit OS. Recently I upgraded to a core I3 64 bit system. Now I am getting a "Your windows 7 is not a genuine edition". I am confused, does this means that changing the motherboard voided my license?

    Please do not worry.

Try and get the activation done on phone with Microsoft. They shall help you.

You only need to reinsert the key at Computer>Properties link or in the activation prompt that comes up, so that the hardware signature is updated for your Product Key in MS Activation Servers.

I have managed to re-activate my copy of Window 7, by following your advice. I called Microsoft and after a few minutes on the phone, I entered my new activation ID. Thanks for your advice
