what does the blue screen say | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Too many to list. OS XP, Seven, 2008R2 CPU AMD, Intel, VIA Motherboard Various Memory Corsair, Kingston, etc. Graphics Card ATI, NVIDIA Monitor(s) Displays Samsung Keyboard qwerty Hard Drives Maxtor, Western Digital Internet Speed 22 Mb/s @ home, 1 Gb/s @ server Other Info All of my systems still run fastest on XP 32-bit for the most part. Win7 is fun to play with, but I still prefer XP for raw speed, security, and functionality. |

It sounds like you are trying to load xp from within windows 7. You can't do this.
You need to put your cd in.
Restart your computer and tap the boot menu key ( some machines are F12 some are F9, it varies. ) and select boot from cd. Or you can go in the BIOS and change the boot order.
Once it boots, from the cd , you will need to "press any key' to continue.
Then you just follow the instructions.
Hope this helps. What is the error on the bluescreen. That's what we need to know..
You can get a formatting tool from Ultimate Boot CD or something... Download Darik's Boot and Nuke from SourceForge.net
You can download the zip file and burn the ISO and run the software.. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number DELL VOSTRO 3750 OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU 2nd generation Intel Core i5‐2450M (2C/4T, 2.5GHz, 3M Memory 6GB DDR3 Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M (128 bit), 1GB Grpahics Monitor(s) Displays 17.3 inch High Definition LED Display with anti Screen Resolution (1600 x 900) Hard Drives 500GB 5400 RPM SATA Hard Drive |
