    possibility of running windows 7?

hey i know i posted a while back about my other pc but i've recently brought a new one it's not great but im just woundering if it will run windows 7, My screenshot will show spec's of the pc just to let you know it does include hyperthreading.

I do reckon the ram could do with a bit of an upgrade but i think the maximum my tower will allow is 2GB,
My tower is a dell optiplex 210L.

    thanks

you can run Windows 7 on that 1gb RAM if your system is 32bit, if 64bit u need atleast 2gb...
    though, more RAM the better.

I ran it on a computer with 1GB of RAM and it was not horrible, but I also did not use that machine for anything that qualifies as multitasking. If you can get to 2GB without spending an arm and a leg it would be a passable student computer.

A 2GB kit like this would not be bad:

    Newegg.com - Computer Hardware, Memory, Desktop Memory, 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM, 2GB (2 x 1GB)

PS: I googled your board and it appears to have two DIMM slots with 2GB max. Double check that that is correct before buying anything! :)

What do you plan to use the computer for? Listing a few programs you use often would help. :)
