When I set the sata controller to ahci save and restart I see the intell logo and then the screen goes black and I get the error message CDBOOT: Couldn't find BOOTMGR. When I switch to IDE then it boots normally.

Again, that is because it is trying to boot the HD instead of the Windows 7 DVD installer. Boot into the installer instead and try install: Clean Install Windows 7

How to Boot your Computer from a Bootable CD or DVD,

or use the one-time BIOS Boot Menu key given on first screen.

I double checked the boot sequence and DVD driver is listed first and I still get the same error when booting using Achi. When I switch IDE it boots normally. I just have troubled with this Disk - Clean and Clean All with Diskpart Command I complete that successfully and then when I try to create a new partition I get the error. Could it be the clean isn't completely cleaning?

I doubt it. Try free Partition Wizard bootable CD. Create new full disk NTFS Primary partition, label it, Modify>Set to Active, assign C, Apply steps. Then rightclick on new partition to Check File System, apply. Then try install.

Well I have. I access to another computer ATM but as soon as I can I will try that. I have another question though I was using disk part to try and create a volume/partition and I got the error A disk specified I'd not dynamic. Please specify a dynamic disk and try again. So my question is two. Can I turn my normal disk into a dynamic one and if I do will the cause any problem with the laptop overall because it seems you need a dynamic disk to create one of these anyway right?

Nevermind I attempted to convert the disk to dynamic using prompt but I still got cyclic redundancy check do I guess I'll have to wait until I can get acess to another computer to try the wizard.

You don't want a Dynamic disk which is used to span partitions across multiple HD's.

There is some reason why it thinks you have a Dynamic disk so convert it to Basic to be certain using Diskpart Clean Command from DVD accessing DISKPART At PC Startup.

The disk is basic disk I was thinking making it dynamic would allow me to create a partition or volume but I couldnt make it dynamic. I think I should try the wizard you gave me when I can get ahold of another computer to download it. I think it's a driver issue.

Yea when I click load driver I get the error
No signed device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers, and then click ok.
When I try to browse I cannot find any drivers. How do I solve this issue or is this an issue at all?
