Window 7 installation problem

Still Nothing,
I am using window xp on the same computer
Configuration -
Intel DG41 WV
Core2Duo
DDR3 Ram 2Gb
Hard Disk 360 Gb
I changed motherboard, ram & dvd rom recently all new.
Note- I used nvidia graphic card on this mbo but after sometime it got defective and i removed it. Cpu Fan doen't work when i use this graphic card So is this a graphic card problem or motherboard problem.
Cant install window 7, after final restart of installation sucks on black screen, and when we do restart through this black screen, it give three continuous beeps with a pause continuously until the power is off. What's the problem. Ram is new, is ram can be faulty but how it is, working fine when i install window xp. If it is faulty it should not work on window xp.
(I tried Device manager installation, got many errors (yellow marks) on video and serial bus controllers, i tried to uninstall everyone but still installation stucks on black screen after completing.
Any solution to install window 7.

Try installing WIn7 from the XP desktop, either to overwrite C or to a partition you shrink out of C using free Partition Wizard to test install.

Good advice from the link above:
  • Reseat the memory.
  • Make sure that the contacts on the memory and the socket are clean.
  • Try removing one bank of memory modules at a time. (Some systems can require a memory module in Bank 0.)
  • Try using memory modules from the same manufacturer with the same part number and speed.
  • Check for a faulty memory module by trying the memory in a known good system.
Greg posted the way to test the memory (RAM) for faults.
These errors may be fixed by adjusting settings.

Post your system specs in the "My System Specs" drop box in the lower left corner of any of your posts. This way we can see them without having to go back through the entire thread.

Can you download CPUZ and post a snip of the CPU, Mainboard, Memory, and SPD tabs.
For posting the information , enter 'Snipping tool' in the Start button > Search box, hit enter. Select the area you want to post and save to a convenient place.

Have you been checking your temperatures?
Use Real Temp , to check the CPU temps when at idle, under load and/or testing.
Let us know the minimum and maximum temps you get.

Go to your BIOS and tell us what the CPU, RAM and the CPU integrated memory controller voltages are.
This is important in order to make RAM settings adjustments.

How many RAM cards do you have installed?

Remove the RAM card(s) check that the card(s) and slot(s) are clean, re-install them, make sure the cards are fully inserted. Sometimes this will take quit a bit of force. The clips should be in the notch on the cards.

Yes, have seen that many times.
It's usually due to RAM settings, but can also be from Win7 settings.

In addition to the memory troubleshooting Dave has suggested:

Eliminate the prompt it's hanging upon by setting HD first to boot in BIOS setup. You are not booting the DVD anyway when running it from XP.

To do this with the booted method, set HD first to boot then trigger DVD using one-time BIOS Boot Menu key given on first boot screen.

Did you ever move the data off the HD to wipe it with Diskpart Clean Command?

Hello everyone, please help me. I am using an intel dg41 wv motherboard and 2gb ddr3 1333 mhz dimm ram but on installing windows 7, after completing installation, at the final restart of installation computer does not show any desktop & get stucked on pres any key boot from cd or dvd......and if we restart at this position, mobo give 3 continuous beeps with a pause and continues until the power is off. But one thing is as per the intel dg41wv official page :-
System memory features
The board has two DIMM sockets and supports the following memory features:

Two 240-pin DDR3 SDRAM Dual Inline Memory Module (DIMM) sockets
Support for DDR3 1066 MHz or DDR3 800 MHz DIMMs
Support for up to 4 GB total system memory
Single or dual channel operation
Memory voltage: 1.35V to 1.65V
But the box in which this mobo came says that it supports DDR3 1066/800/1333 MHz.
and i am using DDR3 RAM 1333 MHz DIMM.
I know this beep is memory fault but where is the problem. Is this mobo support only 1066/800 ram. Any solution?
