Please help me with a clean install of windows 7
This is how I use to install WIN7, I had a cd-rom and I just put the the system recovery disc, waited for it to load, then clicked on the command prompt icon, command prompt opened, then i just looked for the partition and folder where my WIN7 installation files are, once there in the folder, i typed setup.exe
The installation screen opened and follow all the steps, selected the partition c: where I wanted it to be installed, and it was fine
Now, I have no cd-rom and system reapir disc, so I opted to use grub4dos to boot "system repair disc" or a software kind of similar called "pcwindowsrecovery" from SD card(2Gb) or a USB drive(1 Gb), my goal was just to open the command prompt and look for my WIN7 installation folder on a secondary partition, everything was normal but when I got to the drive selection to install WIN7, and selected like always the C:, I got this error:
That's not my screenshot, but the error is the same, I have three partitions on my hard drive, with the CD-ROM booting system repair disc, i had no problems, but now with the SD or USB i have problems, I even format the partition but it wont work, do I need to fix anything using diskpart before looking for my WIN7 on my hard disk and run the setup? Any help o method to fix the problem? why with the cd-rom method worked fine, but with the SD and USB, it does not?
I hava the SD card, is there any way I can use YUMMI or grub4dos, to install windows 7 but without having to put the all the installation files into the SD CARD, I can easily create a Windows 7 installation from SD, but it wont fit since the SD is 2Gb, how can boot grub4dos to install WIN7 which i located in a secondary partition on my hard disk?
