[Help]Beginner to re-install window

Hello there, before I start,I'd like to explain the situation and what I wanted.

I have a desktop and laptop, both are genuine window.Laptop's OS is window 7 Pro and desktop is Window 7 Starter.

Since I'm the ownership,I would like to swap window 7 pro to desktop and starter to laptop.

However,I don't have CD or DVD of window 7 pro or starter.

May I ask,if there have any download link of window os can be use to download such as linux ubuntu does ? Or I must purchase its DVD from computer centre

If possible,I prefer to download it

A product key will only work for one PC, unless it is multiple PCs.You will need to purchase another product key (DVD) to install it on your laptop.

Hi,

If you don't have a DVD installation disk, then it implies that both versions are OEM versions (they were pre-installed on the laptop and desktop). If that is the case, the installed OS is "tied-in" to the motherboard in the laptop and desktop. This means you usually cannot swap versions between hardware.

Please run this tool on both the laptop and desktop. Click COPY in the tool, and then paste the contents here so we can confirm the type of installation you have:

This is the site where you can dowload every flavor of windows seven:

http://www.mydigitallife.info/official-windows-7-sp1-iso-from-digital-river/

Listen to what experts have to say in this matter

If you decide to swap your OS's make external images before doing so

Good luck

The latter link does not have Starter. As it states unlock starter in any other ISO of the correct bit-version by running the eicfg removal tool on the ISO. You'll then get a menu at install to choose your licensed version.

Follow these steps which include everything you need to get a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
