| | Restore dell inspiron to factory settings I have a dell inspiron 1545 and would like to restore it back to factory settings i have switched my laptop off then turned it on and pressed f8 several times it takes me to the advanced boot options i then press repair my computer i select my keyboard setting and log in then it takes me to the restore tool options and it doesnt give me this option which i need Dell DataSafe Local or dell factory image restore or anything and i dont have any discs could any one please help.  |

| | someone came from dell and put my new hardrive in and then installed windows 7 on my laptop thats all i know and now im wanting to restore it and it doesnt come up with factory image restore or anything like that just lets me restore to a earlier point in time |

| | You don't seem to have a recovery partition. Did you make recovery disks? If not, your only choice may be to download an ISO of your Windows version from mydigitallife.info, burn it to a disc, and reinstall. Or order recovery disks from Dell as TheOG says. |
