It's likely you're not getting help because you no longer have Windows 7 installed.
To prepare to reinstall it if you want I would run Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor
to see if it flags any issues that might relate to the problems. You may have needed a newer Display driver
or a performance Update, both of which might be delivered via Windows Updates if they are all installed. if not I would seek out a Display driver update.
