Windows 7: windows7 X 2

windows7 X 2

I have got windows xp on my C Drive and I have patitioned my hd and installed windows 7 on my new E Drive and copied my important files to my E Drive (Tested and they work).
My question is: Can I replace my windows xp with windows 7, meaning that I would have windows 7 on both C and E Drives.
My intention then, when Windows 7 is released in October, is to activate Windows on C Drive, move my files/folders from E Drive to C Drive then delete E Drive.
I hope all that makes sense.
Simply put: Is it possible to have Windows 7 RC on both drives?

Yes its possible, and yes it will work. DO a clean install of win 7 to the partitions where xp was and Win 7/win 7. Worst senario is you have to use bcdedit (built in boot editor) to modify the boot menu
