Installing Windows 7 (clean) without the disc

Hi, so I got a virus while on Windows 7, it pretty much ****ed the OS. So I had to revert back to Windows vista and try to figure out a way to Install Windows 7 Professional again. To my luck, I can't upgrade from Windows vista (home) to Windows 7 professional.

Now, I don't have the disc, or any other disc so I can burn an iso(legally).

So, I was wondering, is there a way to perform a clean install? OR, is there a software that will load up the iso when the pc boots?

    Thanks.

Hello iMalibuz0r, and welcome to Seven Forums.

If you are able to, you could use the free program in the tutorial below to burn the ISO to a DVD or create a bootable USB flash drive with the ISO.
Afterwards, you could use the bootable DVD or USB to do a clean install with your upgrade Windows 7.
    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Everything you need is here to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which is the same for retail.

Just boot the DVD or flash stick, it will see the underlying Vista and allow use of Upgrade version key during install.
