Windows 7: Installing win 7 on formatted in old laptop

The steps I gave you to Clean Reinstall include the latest installer and the MS tool to burn it to DVD. Please read and follow the steps. Is there some reason you cannot do this?

If you did, then at which step was their a malfunction?

Next issue

Windows could not format a partition disc 0. The error occurred while preparing the partition for installation. Error code:0x80070057
