Installing win 7 on formatted in old laptop

    The steps I gave you to Clean Reinstall include the latest installer and the MS tool to burn it to DVD. Please read and follow the steps. Is there some reason you cannot do this?

    You did or you did not follow the procedure given by GregRocker?

    If you did, then at which step was their a malfunction?

    Next issue

    Windows could not format a partition disc 0. The error occurred while preparing the partition for installation. Error code:0x80070057

    Is there ANYTHING on the drive that you care about and want to keep?

    Or are you willing to wipe it completely?
